The Journey -Duane Big Eagle
Describe some of the things that Raoul sees along his journey in “The Journey.”
------Some of the things he sees in the journey is he sees teh mountain lady who is actually the medicine lady, he sees Aljandro who is his second cousin, a family sitting down at a canle lit dinner,a man hitting another man with a club.
"Small scenes, too, remain-a family sittign down to dinner at a candle lit-table in a hut by teh river. And a few more sinister ones-once between two pine cone trees I caught a glimpse of one man raising a large club to strike another man who ahd his back turned away." (page 7)
How did the journey help Raoul in “The Journey”?
------The journey helped Raoul because because he was sick and then the medicine lady helped him be cured, he grew out of his childhood, and he became more mature.
"Roual , you have changed completly . You're not the boy that I left in Mazaltan." "Yes, I know Papa , I've come on a journey out of childhood." (page 9)
What was the problem in “The Journey”?
------- The problem in the book "The Journey" was that Raoul has tubercoulosis that is rare so he has to go to Mazaltan to Oklamhoma to get healed from a medicine lady.
" I still have tubercoulosis scars on my lungs, but this illness was more than tuberculosis." (page 3)
