1.) Reread London'd first description of Hal and Charles. What do you think will happen to them based on this initial description?
------Hal and Charles are men who are very disorganized, messy, and will have a hard tim ewhen they are dog sleding becaus eit requires you to be neat and not messy at all. I think they are going to fail when they are sleding becsau eof teh disorganization.
2.) What was Mercedes' reaction when experienced men went though to lighten the load? What does this say about her and about her relationship with her husband and brother?
------Mercedes' reaction when the men went to lighten the load is that she is a diva, spoiled brat, and a hoarder. Mercedes has no respect for her brother an d her busband becasu eshe always gets whats she wants.
3.) Compare Charles, Hal and Mercedes to any other characters you've met in other books, movies, plays, television shows, or real life. What traits did Buck have that allowed him to adapt to the north that they lacked?
------For Charles, Wario becaus ehe is an evil charcter; for Hal it will be the guy from Home Alone; and for Mercedes it will teh girl from Willy Wonka. Buck has naimal instincts to help him survive.
4.) Why do you think London included these three characters in the book? What do they represent?
-----Lopndon includes the charcters so they can make it interesting. They represent the South or the people who he knew before he was dogknapped.
5.) Why did Buck refuse to rise and lead the team? What did he have that his masters lacked?
-----Buck refused to rise an dlead the team because he knew something bad is going to happen and he has experience since he knows teh route better than any on eelse int he team.

3.) Write a journal entry about a time you didn't listen to someone with more experience than you. What happened? What did you learn?
A time I didn't listen to someone was when my friends said "don't wear both of your earphones" and since I didn't listen to them and wore both of them, my friends sneeked up to me and screamed loudly in my ear to make me scream which obviously worked so now I don'y wear both earphones a lot of times unless I need to. I learned that should always listen to someone who is older than me because they are mostly right and if you disobey you will get an consequence and my consenquence was that I almost had a heart attack when my friends screamed in my ear and mey eardrums started hurting painfully. So now I know that I should always obey people who are older from now on and never disrespect tehm.
