======Immigration is when a person moves from a different country to another different country permanetly. Immigration is when a person moves to another country permanetly to become a citizen. An immmigrant is the actual physical person moving from the different country to the other. The immigrant might move to another country because they want a new start in their life or they just don't liek the country they were living in before.
What is an undocumented immigrant? Explain.
======An undocumented immigrant is when an immigrant goes to the country without any proper documents to enter or borders teh country without any documents
Why have people immigrated to the United States throughout history? Give an example.
======People have immigrated to the United States in the past because they wanted freedom, for example during the colonial period people immigrated to Ellis Island, New York. The Statue of Liberty welcomes teh immigrants that were cming to America and to settle in America as a greeting to the new people coming to America.
Why do people immigrate to the United States presently (2014)? Give an example.
=======People immigrate to America in the present because they want to search for jobs in order to survive, some peopel immigrate with their families so they won't be apart. People also come to America because its called the "land of oppurtunity" so they can have a fresh start in their life by their self or with their family, or they want to live their dream.
