Physical Landforms & Features
In China there are many physical features and landforms such as mountains, volcanoes, plains, lakes, oceans, rivers, and forests.The most famous mountains in China are Mount. Everest, Hengduan Mountain, The Da Xing’an, Taihang, Wu and Xuefang Mountain, Taishan, Huashan, Emeishan, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain , the K2, and the Yellow Mountain. There are a total of 14 volcanoes in China which are the Kunlun,Tianshan, Turfan, Tengchong, Hainan Dao, Leizhou Bandeo, Honggeertu, Datong, Arshan, Kelou, Wudalianchi, Longgang, Jingbo, and the Changbaishan. There are only three Plains in all of China, they are the The Northeast, the North China, and the Middle-Lower Yangtze Plains. The lakes in China are known for their beauty, they are the Qinghai Lake, Poyang, Dongting, Taihu, Heaven Lake, Qiando, Lugu, Namsto, Qianghi, Kanas, and the West Lake. In China there are no oceans but there are many rivers which are the Yangtze River, Yellow River, Heilongjiang River, Songhuajiang River, Zuhjiang River, Brahmuptra River, Lancang River, Nujiang River, Hanjiang River, and the Liahoe River. The forests in China includes the Tianshan Mountain Xueling, Changbai Mountain Korean Pine, Spruceleaf Forest, Jiangfeng Ridge Tropical Forest, Baima Snow Mountain, Bome Gangxiang Spruce Forest, Xishuangbanna Tropical Forest, Libo Karst Forest, Xing’an Larch Forest, Shunan Bamboo Forest. The highest elevation in China is Mount Everest at 29,035 ft and the lowest elevation is Aydingkol at -505 ft.
Climate
The climate in China depends on what season, classification, the precipitation, and the temperature. There are only four seasons in China that goes from Spring starting around March to May, Summer starting from June to August, Autumn starts from September to November, and Winter starts from December to February. The classification of climate is unbearable heat in Summer and freezing temperatures in Winter. The precipitation decreases from southeast to the northwest, in Yangtze Valley they receive about 40-45 inches of rain, in the far North in Huai River Valley receiving around 35 inches, Huang He gets 20-25 inches, and the Changbai Mountains with 40 or more inches of rain. Since December through February is in winter where it is described as freezing temperatures, the regular temperatures is 58°F/14°C and in June through November which is classified as unbearable heat, the temperatures is usually around 82°F/28°C.

The first inhabitants of China were the Shu Ape that is said to be living 45 million years ago. The first early inhabitants in China began about 7,000 through 8,000 years ago, which was many years after the early inhabitants had been discovered. About 2.85 million people enter China every year most purposes were because of employment purposes and other reasons. Since China is one of the world’s most strongest armies in the world, they have been involved in many wars such as the Autumn Offensive of 1947 in Northeast China, all of the wars that China has been involved in is a total of 400 wars.
